My Most Auspicious Wishes on Sri Krishna Janmastami
Shri Krishna, the eighth incarnation
of Lord Vishnu, is the supreme deity across major traditions of Hinduism. He
disclosed the most sacred knowledge of Bhagavad Geeta to warrior Árujuna’ just
before the war of Mahabharata. He is yogeshwar and super master of all the yoga
types- Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga, Gyan Yoga and Karm yoga. He is the solutions
provider to all the worries of earthly or godly nature. He saved the
inhabitants of gokuldham from severe raining created by anger of Lord Indra.
Even if, Hindu traditions explain and accept many many deities, Sri Krishna is
considered the origin of all the gods and entire universe. He has clearly
explained in the Bhagvad Geets-“All start their journey from me and come back
through cycles to me only. I am the only one manifested in many godly forms.”
So, one who prays Shri Krishna,
prays all. He and his name are the most marvelous gifts to the world. They take
anyone out of the vicious karmic cycles. His name is the rest provider, the
enlightening factor and ultimate goal of the birth of humankind.
He can be worshipped in innumerable
ways and forms and the he accepts bhakti or prayers through all the possible
ways. He is worshipped as Balkrishna- infant Krishna eating fresh butter, Young
lover Krishna with incarnation of maa goddess lakshmi-Sri Radhe, Muraliwale as
the most melodious flute player, chakradhari as the lord carrying
chakrasudarshan (the ultimate weapon). He resides in ksheer sagar on Shesh Naag
and the whole world is his dream called Maya. He is the master of this Maya and
manifests it for imparting knowledge and playfulness to the universe. Vishnu
Purana & Bhagavad Purana are one of the two main scriptures in which his
being and supreme authority is well explained.
As we know, his birthday is
celebrated as Sri Krishna Janmastami and today is that very auspicious day. Let
us remember and chant his kind name and ask for the kindness of that almighty
Sri Krishna in all our endeavors.
I offer my prayers to God for well
being of all of us on this birthday of the supreme power and ultimate strength
provider.
Jai Sri Krishna and Happy
Janmastami.
