MEDITATION
HELPFUL IN MAKING US A BETTER LEARNER, A BETTER SCORER
Have you seen how a compressed spring reacts
when it is set free, it elongates to get its state back. Have you come across the story of Arjuna and Dronacharya wherein he teaches the importance of single aim and have you not noted aimless roaming of your mind worth nothing but misery.
In the same way the pressures of several types in our day to day life take our life in a reactive state. You get stressed and behave at times in ways, which you yourself later feel that are uncharacteristic of you. The stress is getting you, you are losing your genuine state.
The process of reclaiming your original self, connect to it, celebrate it, rejoice it is known as meditation. It connects you to the present and frees you from the bondage of past impression and future obsessions. It creates link and understanding with the nature.
Have you felt on any day that you are in office but thinking of home or on a Sunday morning thinking of office jobs and intricacies. Most probably, the compression of your job at office is such that it is not allowing you to regain your natural self. Natural self , which enjoys, which is care free, which is happy, healthy and smiling. Which can sing and dance with rain and flowers.
Remember happy days when you were a child, without any worry for investment, job, family, name and fame you were just happy. That state is the natural self and the stress or compression of life has taken you away from that.
Meditation is closely linked with performance in almost every walk of life. Recent research shows improvement in memory and cognitive functions through meditation. The emotional quotient and general well beings are also positively enriched through meditation. Meditation can improve the memory and it can improve even the analytical skills. It kills the noise within and you are able to see the intended path of life clearly.
